PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BOOKING POLICY CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SITES AND OUR SERVICES, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE CONDITIONS AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOU, THE USER, CUSTOMER, OR PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMER TO READ OUR BOOKING POLICY BEFORE PROCEEDING TO USE THIS SITE.
- Timing Matters: Schedule your permanent makeup appointment at the right time of the month. Avoid booking during your menstrual cycle, as you may be more sensitive to pain. Aim to reserve your appointment 2 days before or after your cycle.
- Alcohol and Caffeine Restriction: Refrain from consuming alcohol within 24 hours before your appointment to minimize potential complications. Skip caffeine for 24 hours before your treatment. Caffeine can reduce the effectiveness of anesthesia, increasing sensitivity during the procedure. Being caffeine-free promotes relaxation and muscle ease, which is crucial for precise preliminary drawing before treatment.
- Pain Relievers and Anticoagulants: Avoid taking pain relievers or anticoagulants 24 hours before your appointment, except for Tylenol. Other products may lead to excessive bleeding, affecting the longevity of semi-permanent makeup. Steer clear of vitamin E capsules and fish oil for 3 days prior to your appointment, as they can also cause excessive bleeding, potentially necessitating premature cessation of the application.
- Skin Preparation: Do not wax or dye your eyebrows for 3 days before your procedure. For lip treatments, hydrate your lips for at least 2 weeks beforehand by applying lip moisturizer or petroleum jelly multiple times daily. Well-hydrated lips make it easier to implant pigment and achieve excellent results. Drink plenty of water during the 1-2 weeks leading up to your lip treatment session.
- Cold Sore Management: If you are prone to cold sores, ensure they are not active around your lip area. If not active but in your system, consult your doctor for antiviral medication 3 days before and 3 days after the treatment to prevent activation.
- Lash and Eye Precautions: Avoid lash lifts or extensions immediately before your eyeliner treatment. These procedures can be done two weeks after the permanent makeup treatment. Consider waiting until the touch-up session, typically scheduled 4 weeks after the initial session. Remove contact lenses during the procedure. Do not book your appointment if your eyes are swollen.
- Medication and Skincare Products: If you are on medication, consult with the practitioner before booking to ensure you are a suitable candidate and that the medications do not contraindicate the treatment. Steer clear of eyelash growth serums (like Latisse or Lash Boost) for a minimum of 4 weeks before your eyeliner treatment, as they can make the eyelid very sensitive and prone to bruising.
- Skin Type Consideration: Understand that semi-permanent eyeliner may not be suitable for mature skin or for individuals with droopy eyes. It is best suited for those with large, open eyes and taut, wrinkle-free skin in the eye area.
